Our History & Foundation
Empress Rising was originally established in 2022 as a Private Membership Association (PMA), an unincorporated not-for-profit organisation existing entirely to benefit its members and the communities we serve.
A PMA does not need any authority or permission from any government for its creation or in order for it to continue to exist and function. While we do not allow the Australian Commonwealth any assumptions to jurisdiction, we do not make any claims to sovereignty or jurisdiction in our own right. We are not Sovereign Citizens and we do not advocate for lawlessness or anarchy.
In acknowledgement of the unceded sovereignty and true jurisdiction of the Original Sovereign Tribal Nations of the continent known as Australia, and to avoid complicity in international crimes against those nations, Empress Rising operates outside of any Australian Government claims and systems.
We are committed to establishing lawful foundations so that we may operate with integrity within the jurisdiction of the many original sovereign nations on the Australian continent and abroad.
We acknowledge and respect the law people, elders and ancestors of those nations and their continuing connection to the land and water that we share. We walk with deep reverence for truth and justice and commit to supporting the peaceful and harmonious direction put forward by those who hold the legitimate authority at law.
