Our Philosophy

Indigenous groups in precolonial times were profoundly spiritual, and the very core of that spiritual belief was derived from the Sacred Feminine, that of Mother Earth. Most original cultures consider women as sacred because they maintain a close connection to nature, birth, life, and death; to medicinal plants; and to spiritual knowledge.

Many of these groups coexisted with the highly advanced civilisations of Lemuria and Atlantis. Many ancient cultures across the world have preserved stories, symbols, and ruins that point toward a time when powerful, advanced civilisations ruled the Earth, long before the beginning of recorded history.

Lemuria was a vast realm of archipelagoes and islands that once sprawled across the Pacific Ocean. Lemurians lived in harmony with the Earth and were deeply in tune with nature and higher consciousness. Although a matrifocal society, both Feminine and Masculine energies were honored equally, creating a sense of peace, collaboration, and respect that sustained their communities. Lemuria was a spiritually oriented civilisation whose focus was emotional intelligence, unity, healing and collective balance rather than conquest or industrial expansion. 

Atlantis was an island nation in the Atlantic Ocean known for it's more Masculine, hierarchical structure. Atlanteans were known for their advanced knowledge of astronomy, genetics and engineering and their technological mastery - especially in energy, architecture and weaponry. It is said that Atlanteans lost their spiritual path as their ambitious nature led them to become obsessed with power and domination.  

Ancient texts suggest that Atlantis and Lemuria traded knowledge and resources until Atlantis grew more aggressive in their pursuits of colonisation, experimentation and control, leading to tensions between the two civilisations due to ideological differences.  

Lemurians sought to preserve natural order and spiritual law while Atlanteans sought to manipulate, dominate and control the Earth's energetic grid using dimensional gateways and false energetic overlays. This disrupted the organic crystalline grids that Lemurians used to build and run their cities and eventually the ideological divide descended into full-blown conflict, leading to the devastation of both civilisations.

The fall of Atlantis and Lemuria resulted in massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, the sinking of both continents, a shift in the Earth's magnetic poles and a loss of global memory, known as "The Great Forgetting". This culminated in the "Great Flood" remembered in nearly every culture on Earth. 

Oral histories from Hawaii, Fiji, Māori, Aboriginal and Tibetan lineages still echo the same truth: a peaceful, heart led people disappeared beneath the waves, while Greek myths about Atlantis speak of hubris, punishment and loss. Native American cultures speak of great floods - Many legends of East Coast tribes mention ancestors who came from a land just due east of them - a land now under water. There is some suggestion that many of the tribes of the West Coast are descendants of Lemuria. It is also said that pre-Inca people were seeded from Lemuria. There is some suggestion that Australian Aboriginals were seeded on Earth in Lemuria by Pleieadian star beings - and many other cultures also speak of "sky people".

While much of our past between the fall of 12,000 years ago and the beginning of recorded history 5000 years ago is widely debated, we do know that indigenous cultures hold knowledge of our hidden history. 

We believe that the fall of Atlantis was the result of a loss of spiritual and moral values which led to the loss of balance between Feminine and Masculine leadership. The original Atlanteans were more attuned to nature and spirituality and respected the wisdom and principles of the Feminine. The fall of Atlantis saw humanity shift from matrifocal, Earth-connected societies to patriarchal, hierarchical ones, characterized by the abuse of spiritual/scientific power for personal gain, hierarchical control by elites over the masses, and disconnection from natural/spiritual laws, leading to societal collapse and a disruption of the Earth's crystalline grid which held our planet's energetic balance.

We can easily draw a parallel between the Atlantean abuse of power and the rise of the patriarchal rule we live under today - most notably represented by the Roman Catholic Church, The Vatican and the Holy See.  

Atlantis fell. The Church rose. Different robes, same game. 

In the 15th century the Sacred Feminine was decimated as a result of colonisation and the persecution of “witches” by the Roman Catholic Church, who justified their actions via The Doctrine of Discovery - A legal and religious framework originating from a series of papal bulls, or decrees, issued by the Catholic Church used to justify European Christian colonisation of non-Christian lands. These papal bulls granted Christian monarchs the religious authority to "invade, search out, capture, vanquish and subdue" non-Christian peoples and claim their lands and resources. 

In Early Modern Europe, many women labeled as witches were actually wise-women and midwives who served as healers in their communities. These women often used herbs, poultices, prayers, and ointments to treat illnesses. Their healing practices, rooted in traditional knowledge and spiritual beliefs, were often intertwined with magic and herbalism. 

The wise ones persecuted as "witches" were generally those embodying the nurturing, intuitive, and healing aspects of the Sacred Feminine - those deeply connected to nature and the ancient wisdom of Lemuria. There is a strong link between those wise women and the shamans and medicine people of indigenous cultures - they shared the same deep knowledge of medicinal plants, rituals, spiritual practices and ability to heal and guide their communities. 

The Malleus Maleficarum or "Hammer of Witches", a manual that stripped women of rights by institutionalizing misogynistic ideas and providing a guide for hunting and persecuting them came into being shortly after the papal bull "Summis desiderantes affectibus" was issued against witchcraft in 1484. This book fueled witch hunts by giving a religious and legal framework to violence and control against women, particularly those who held knowledge of healing, midwifery, and birth control, which challenged male authority. It promoted the belief that women were inherently more susceptible to the devil's influence due to their supposed spiritual and emotional weakness, linking witchcraft to female "lust" and bodily control.

The Papal Bull “Inter Caetera,” was issued by Pope Alexander VI 9 years later in 1493, authorising Spain and Portugal to colonize the Americas and its Native peoples as subjects.

The Sacred Feminine was declared demonic and and an entire dimension largely disappeared from human experience, thus began the great inversion of spiritual history and the "New World". 

This marked the beginning of the patriarchal systems of today - built upon stolen land and the desecration of the Sacred Feminine. Women's rights were stripped, indigenous cultures were decimated and the Earth's resources became a commodity to a patriarchal minority of wealthy and influential elite families and corporations, creating a class divide and disconnection far removed from the balance and order held by indigenous, pagan and other Earth-based traditions that were declared heretical and suppressed by western culture.

Colonialism, capitalism and endless warfare ensured widespread distortion of Masculine energy and continued suppression of the Feminine and as a result humanity was driven into lower states of consciousness. This cycle of relational wounding and imbalance between collective Masculine and Feminine energy has snowballed through our ancestral lines and collective consciousness since the fall of Atlantis.

Since the Mayan/Hopi prophesized shift in consciousness began in 2012, Feminine energy has been rising as women have been healing, speaking their truth, reconnecting to the cycles of the earth and remembering the wisdom and balance of a pre-colonial world. The name Empress Rising is a reference to the reclamation of the Sacred Feminine. The Empress in the Tarot represents love, creation and motherhood. She is fertility and desire, nurturing, creativity and abundance. She is the Great Mother, the Earth Mother and the archetype of the Sacred Feminine and Divine Mother. She is is the highest expression of Feminine energy - attained through adversity, healing and mastery.

Healed Feminine energy awakens, inspires and elevates men into their highest truth and purpose, illuminating the unconscious beliefs and patterns of behaviour that hold Masculinity in a dying paradigm. Awakened women hold the key to our future. They are the keepers of ancient wisdom and the mothers of future fathers, lovers and leaders.

The women walking this path hold a sacred responsibility for healing the collective consciousness and the Earth's energetic grid through their journey of intimate relationships, motherhood, spiritual ascension and the remembrance of the wisdom of our ancestors. These women have walked the Earth in many incarnations across history and hold the memory of thousands of years of patriarchal trauma along with the original wisdom of the priestesses of Atlantis and Lemuria in their wombs and hearts. 

The Empress is viewed as a source of stability, inspiration and wisdom by her Masculine Counterpart – the Emperor. The Emperor is now beginning to rise as men confront their own healing and understand the destructive binds that patriarchy has held them in. Their union is a representation of the sacred balance of Masculine and Feminine energy required to build and protect a thriving family, community or Empire - or to peacefully transform a tyrannical one that enslaves and divides its people...

The vision for Empress Rising is a thriving heart-led community of women and men doing this sacred work and building a legacy for generations to come so that we may reveal what was hidden, recover what was lost and bring heaven back to earth.

Many know this as the biblical prophecy of humanity's return to The Garden of Eden. We know this to be the return of the Sacred Feminine and Lemuria - not as a physical place but a vibrational frequency attained through our collective spiritual journey of repentance, healing and reconciliation of Masculinity and Femininity - a spiritual journey commonly known as Sacred Union.

It is our mission to bring healing to our world through our relationships, ancestral healing and the legacy of love that we leave for our children to take forward. We envision a world with the Sacred Feminine restored to her rightful place at the helm of a healthy, spiritually connected and prosperous civilisation.
